Women's Lacrosse Suffers 18-8 Loss to Indiana Tech

ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Siena Heights women's lacrosse team suffered an 18-8 loss to WHAC opponent Indiana Tech at O'Laughlin Stadium on Wednesday.

Jenna Allie scored four goals to lead the SHU attack. Catherine Androwski, Hannah Merrick, Abbey Scott and Emily Pringle also had goals.

Merrick and Pringle also made assists. Avah Holland added four draw controls and three groundballs while goalie Shelby Mueller totaled 11 saves.

The visiting Warriors (8-4, 5-3) scored the final six goals of the first half to take a 12-3 edge into halftime. The Saints closed their deficit to eight on three occasions after that, but could not pull any closer.

SHU (5-8, 4-4) will return to action with its final home game on Saturday when the Saints host WHAC opponent Aquinas at noon.
