SOUTHFIELD, Mich. -- The Siena Heights women's lacrosse team lost a 22-6 contest to third-ranked Lawrence Tech on Saturday.

Jenna Allie and Hannah Merrick scored two goals each for the Saints (4-7, 3-3) while Emily Pringle and Avah Holland added one goal apiece. Pringle and Holland also had assists.

Lucy Stedam made 14 saves in goal. She and Merrick picked up four groundballs apiece.

The host Blue Devils (10-1, 6-0) took a 3-0 lead and never trailed. A pair of SHU goals helped the Saints pull within 3-2 before Lawrence Tech built up a 13-4 halftime lead.

Bella Burke led LTU with seven goals.

The Saints will return to action on Monday with a 5 p.m. WHAC game at Rochester.
