LIVONIA, Mich. -- The Siena Heights women's lacrosse team suffered a 16-6 loss to Madonna in WHAC action on Wednesday.

Jenna Allie and Emily Pringle scored two goals apiece for the Saints (2-6, 1-2). Kallei Brown and Hannah Merrick added one goal apiece.

Merrick and Allie led SHU in draw controls with five and four, respectively. Sophia Baugh picked up six groundballs and goalie Lucy Stedam totaled five saves.

SHU trailed 5-3 in the first quarter before the host Crusaders sent in the next 10 goals.

Mia Dawson led Madonna with six goals and one assist. Aria Gettel added four goals and three assists.

The Saints will play next on Saturday at WHAC opponent Concordia. Opening draw is slated for 1 p.m.
