#RV Women's Lax Unable to Slow Down #1 Benedictine (Kan.)

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -- The Siena Heights women's lacrosse team fell to No. 1 Benedictine (Kan.), 15-10, on Wednesday in non-conference action.

The Saints had trailed 10-2 at halftime before outscoring the defending national champs, 8-5, in the second half.

Jenna Allie led the Saints with six goals and one assist while Hannah Merrick and Emily Pringle contributed two goals apiece.

Lucy Stedam finished with 10 saves in goal and led the Saints with seven groundballs.

Allie, Merrick and Sophia Baugh caused three turnovers each.

Benedictine jumped out to a 6-0 lead through one quarter and held a comfortable edge through the rest of the game.

Allie led SHU on a 4-0 run in the third, pulling within 11-6, but the Saints could not shrink the margin any smaller.

Courtney Frankfurth led Benedictine with five goals. Kaylen Moore, Kiera Russell and Chanterra Allen added three goals and one assist each.

The Saints will finish up their Florida trip on Friday with an 11 a.m. game at fourth-ranked Keiser (Fla.).
