Three Siena Heights women's lacrosse athletes were named Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes, as recognized by the governing body on Friday. Saints honored were seniors Aliisa Mason and Tabitha Ferguson and junior Kayla Parks.
Mason is a psychology major while fellow senior Ferguson majors in fine arts. Parks is a communications major.
In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status. In total, 62 women's lacrosse scholar-athletes were named in the NAIA.
