#10 Women's Lacrosse Cruises Past Cleary

ADRIAN, Mich. -- Nine different Saints scored in the tenth-ranked Siena Heights women's lacrosse 22-4 victory over non-conference opponent Cleary, on Monday.

Casey Rappuhn scored two goals in the first three minutes of action to get the Saints rolling. Kayla Parks scored the unassisted game-winner with 21:00 remaining in the first half of action. SHU left the first half with a 13-3 lead over the Cougars and didn't look back.

Audrey Jarrad and Parks each netted four goals for the Saints, Parks adding two assists. With three goals a piece was Rappuhn and Marissa Cirino, who also tallied one assist. Aliisa Mason led the Saints with four assists and two goals. Natalie Williams and Hannah Argue each added a pair of goals as Alyssa Hopkins and Katherine Tapia earned solo goals. Taylor Swartz and Hopkins both earned an assist.

Scoring three of the four Cleary goals was Hana Barnett, all unassisted. Brooke Graham netted a solo shot for the Cougars.

Earning the win in goal for the Saints was Rachel Ries, stopping five shots. Williams caused four turnovers for the Saints while Jarrad had three caused turnovers. Bailey Wilson made nine saves for CU.

Siena Heights outshot Cleary, 41-10, and won 21 of the 27 draw controls.

Next up, the Saints will host Concordia in a 7 p.m. WHAC contest, on Wednesday.
