Siena Heights women's lacrosse member Karley Engelsman was named to the NAIA All-America Second Team, as announced by the league recently.
The sophomore defender played in all 16 matches in the 2016 season. Overall, she has picked up 45 groundballs and caused 24 turnovers.
Engelsman earned a game-high five caused turnovers and eight groundballs in 10-9 OT victory against Charleston (W.V.) on March 21, where she also scored the game-tying goal to send the Saints into overtime.
Previously, Englesman was named All-WHAC Honorable Mention for the 2016 season.
