Women's Lacrosse Falls to #4 Davenport

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- The Siena Heights women's lacrosse team fell 19-4 in a conference contest to fourth-ranked Davenport, on Saturday.

Sabrina Snow opened up the scoring for the Saints; she finished a free-position shot in the third minute. Davenport answered quickly and finished the second half with an 8-2 lead. The Panthers maintained control for the remainder of the game.

Tabitha Ferguson started in goal for the Saints, making five saves while allowing eight goals in the first half. Alyssa Hopkins relieved her in the second half, making six saves and allowed 11 goals.

Winning goaltender Samantha Powers made four saves for the Panthers. Alex Yates relieved her at the start of the second half and made one save.

Snow finished two shots and earned one assist for SHU. Sam Pawlowski scored one goal and tallied an assist while Kayla Parks added a solo goal, six groundballs and thre caused turnovers.

Leading the Panthers' scoring, Brooke Knoll and Jessica Lemcke finished with five and four goals respectively.

Next up, the Saints will host Charleston (W.V.) on Monday. The game is set for a 4 p.m. start.
