Women's Lacrosse Falls to #3 LTU

ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Siena Heights women's lacrosse team dropped a 17-3 conference contest against third-ranked Lawrence Tech, on Wednesday.

The Saints opened up the game-scoring with two unassisted gaols coming from Alysa Grove and Kayla Parks. Lawrence Tech took over, scoring 11 unanswered goals to end the first half.

In the second half, Siena Heights' Parks finished another unassisted goal in the 54th minute. The Blue Devils went on to score six more.

Top scorers for LTU were Alyssa Shaver with 7 goals and Kadijah Kalo with four goals.

Defensively, Aliisa Mason and Parks each picked up three groundballs while goalie Tabitha Ferguson made seven saves for the Saints. Earning the win for the Blue Devils was Mary Klonowski with one save.

Siena Heights was outshot by LTU, 35-9.

The Saints will be back in action when they play at Davenport on Saturday for a conference match starting at 1 p.m.
