Snow Leads Women's Lacrosse to Victory Over Saint Mary

BELLEVILLE, Ill. -- Sabrina Snow scored four goals in the 18-8 victory over Saint Mary (Kan.) for the Siena Heights women's lacrosse team, on Friday.

The Saints (2-1) scored four unassisted goals within the first nine minutes of the game. Saint Mary responded with two goals of their own. Siena Heights finished four more chances while the Spires scored four more goals. The Saints lead 8-6 going into halftime.

Siena Heights kept the first half momentum and added six unanswered goals in the first five minutes of the second half. The Saints cruised to victory.

With the four goals from Snow, the Saints added three goals from Aliisa Mason, Taylor Swartz and Kayla Parks. Hayley Parker finished two shots while Sam Pawlowski, Alysa Grove and Victoria Chavis each scored a solo goal. Assists were awarded to Mason, Parker, Parks, Pawlowski and Swartz.

Tabitha Ferguson stopped seven shots in net while earning the win for SHU. For the Spires (0-5), Kayla DeBlois made nine saves.

Next up, the Saints will play Lindenwood-Belleville at 1 p.m. on Saturday.
