Siena Heights women's lacrosse player Sydney VanHoose was named to the Capital One Academic All-District At-Large Team, which is chosen by CoSIDA (Collegiate Sports Information Directors of America).

VanHoose, who is an education major, was honored in the District 1 College Division category, which encompasses Canadian schools and NAIA and two-year schools in Alabama, Connecticut, the District of Columbia, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Mississippi, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Puerto Rico, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Vermont, Virginia and West Virginia.

Nominees for the CoSIDA award must have a GPA of 3.30 or higher and be of sophomore, junior or senior academic standing at their respective institution.
