Déjà Vu: Ferguson is Top Defender in WHAC Women's Lax, Kehn and Hill Add Major Honors

Two Siena Heights women's lacrosse players -- junior Erin Kehn and sophomore Tabitha Ferguson -- were named to the All-Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference First Team, as announced by the league on Friday. Ferguson was also named WHAC Defensive Player of the Year for the second straight year while SHU head coach Cindy Hill claimed her third consecutive Coach of the Year honor.

Sophomore Aliisa Mason was honored as an All-WHAC Honorable Mention and recognized on the WHAC Champions of Character Team.

Ferguson had an 8-6 record in the Siena Heights cage during the 2015 season. She broke her own single-season school record for goals-against average, finishing at 13.03. Ferguson was credited with 123 saves in approximately 847 minutes in net.

Kehn led the team in goals (52) and points (57) while rating third in draw controls (22).

Mason ranked second on the team in goals (39), assists (9) and points (48).

Cindy Bradford, Margaret Hern, Sabrina Snow and Sydney VanHoose were named to the WHAC All-Academic Team.

Hill has now won the Coach of the Year award in all three years that the WHAC has sponsored women's lacrosse as a conference sport. In 2015, the Saints had their first winningest season with an 8-6 record and reached their highest-ever National Women's Lacrosse League ranking at No. 5.
