Siena Heights women's lacrosse players Aliisa Mason and Madison Sabourin were named Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference players of the week -- Mason as the top offensive player and Sabourin as the top defender -- as announced by the league on Monday.

Mason tallied 12 goals, four assists to earn the WHAC Offensive Player of the Week honor. She added 10 ground balls, two caused turnovers and six draw controls in the three games. Eight of her goals came against Midland (Neb.) when she led the team in scoring and points. 

Sabourin was named the WHAC Defensive Player of the Week after posting 15 ground balls, eight caused turnovers and 13 draw controls. She also scored three goals and assisted on three others.
