Women's Golf Places Third in Stroke Play and 1-1 in Match Play

AUGUSTA, MICH. -- The Siena Heights Women's Golf Team played in the WHAC Fall Preview on Monday and Tuesday, and finished third place in stroke play, with a team score of 329. The Saints were seven strokes behind Lawerence Tech with a team score of 322, and 21 strokes back from the University of Northwestern Ohio's team score of 308. The Saints were led by Skylar Whitman's second-place finish in the stroke-play event with a 74 and was only one shot back from the stroke-play victory. 

MATCH PLAY DAY 1 RESULTS: Lawerence Tech defeated Siena Heights 4-1. 

MATCH PLAY DAY 2 RESULTS: Siena Heights defeated Cleary 4.5-0.5.

NEXT UP, The Siena Heights Women's Golf Team will travel to Sylvania Country Club next Monday, October, 10th, to play in the Second Lourdes Fall Invitational this season.
