Angola, Ind. -- The Siena Heights Women's Golf Team played in its first event of the year to finish tied for fifth place along with Rio Grande. The tournament took place at Zollner Golf Course, home of Trine.

The Saints shot a total score of 362. Bethany Nowak led the way for Siena Heights as she shot an 85 to start off the year tying for 13th. Leah Lefleur tied for 26th as she was four shots behind Nowak with an 89. Behind Lefleur was Skylar Whitman who shot a 92 and tied for 32nd place. Rounding out the fourth score for the Saints was Megan Paczas who Tied for 45th with a score of 96. Brooke Strand and Chloe Zeolla also competed for the Saints today. Brooke Strand shot a 98 and Chloe Zeolla shot a 100. 

Grace College won the Tournament with a 323 (+35) led by tied for 1st medalist Grace May.
