OPELIKA, Ala. -- The Siena Heights women's golf team played its first spring event to a seventh-place finish at the Lawrence Tech Spring Invitational. The tournament was a three-day event that took place at the Grand National Lake Course, one of 26 courses on the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail.

The Saints finished with a 27-hole total of 552. The event was originally slated for two days of 18 holes before rain wiped out half of day 2. SHU's daily team scores were 373-179.

Bethany Nowak and Megan Paczas tied for 11th on the individual leaderboard. Nowak carded an 88 on day one and then ended with a 45 on nine holes. Paczac went 90 and 43.

Skylar Whitman tied for 28th with a 95-45--140, Leah LaFleur tied for 35th with a 100-46--146 and Emma Murphy tied for 44th with a 109-52--161.

Campbellsville won the team championship with a 515 (345-170), led by medalist Connor Geralds (81-41--122).
