SYLVANIA, Ohio -- The Siena Heights women's golf team finished eighth at the Gray Wolf Invitational hosted by Lourdes University at the Sylvania Country Club in Sylvania, Ohio, on Monday afternoon. The Saints had a team score of 396 to claim the eighth spot in the team standings.
Ohio Northern claimed the top spot with a 335 final score. Ohio Dominican was second with a 336. The host Gray Wolves placed third with a 350, which was 10 strokes better than Madonna, who was fourth. Tiffin recorded a 361, six shots better than Cleary. Rio Grande had a 378 for seventh before the Saints topped Concordia, who had a 409 in the last spot.
Skylar Whitman was the top finisher for SHU as she shot a +16 (88) to tie for 14th. Brooke Strand tied for 35th with a +27 (99). Isabelle Sparks recorded a +32 (104) to tie for 45th. Chloe Zeolla had a 105 (+33) to tie in 48th. Emma Murphy (T-52, +38) and Josilyne Schanz (T-55th, +44) finished off the scoring for the Saints in the tournament.

The SHU women's golf team will finish off the Fall portion of the 2022-23 season next Monday, October 17, at the Cougar Invitational hosted by Cleary University at the Oak Pointe Honors Golf Course in Brighton, Michigan.
