Women’s Golf Finishes 4th at Aquinas Fall Invitational

WYOMING, Mich. – The Siena Heights women's golf team placed fourth at the Aquinas Fall Invitational on Wednesday. The Saints finished one stroke behind host Aquinas to fall to fourth place in the tournament.

Spring Arbor won as a team with a 341. Cleary fell second with a 347 while Aquinas edged out SHU, who edged out Lourdes by a stroke. Cleary's second team was sixth with a 368, while Cornerstone (377) and Rochester finished the team standings.

Skylar Whitman led the way for Siena with a third-place showing after a score of 82 for the round. Bethany Nowak finished just behind Whitman with an 83 to place fifth. Megan Paczac compiled an 89 for 16th, while Leah LaFleur had a 99 to place 32nd on the individual leaderboard. Isabelle Sparks completed the scoring for the Saints with a 100 for 33rd.

The SHU women's golf team will compete this Friday, September 30, at the Cleary Invitational at the Chemung Hills Golf Course in Howell, Michigan.
