OTTAWA LAKE, Mich. -- The Siena Heights women's golf team finished sixth in the Lourdes Invitational at The Legacy Golf Course in Ottawa Lake, Michigan, to begin the 2022 Fall season. The Saints finished with a score of 390 to claim their place in the team standings.
Chelsea Kovoch led the way for SHU as she tied for 21st after a 92 in the round. Isabelle Sparks finished two strokes behind with a 94 to tie for 26th. Brooke Strand totaled a 96 to tie for 32nd, while Chloe Zeolla had a 108 for 47th. Emma Murphy rounded out the scores with a 109 to tie for 49th. Josilyne Schanz competed as an individual and had a 110 to tie for 51st.
Alma finished atop the team standings with a 334. Host Lourdes was second with a 336, just edging out Cleary, who was third with a 337. Madonna claimed the fourth spot with a 343, while Tiffin was fifth with a 366. The Saints finished ahead of Concordia (Mich.) (398) and Rochester (472).

The SHU women's golf team is scheduled to compete in the Kyle Campbell Invitational hosted by Olivet College at The Medalist Golf Club in Marshall, Michigan, on Friday and Saturday, September 9 and 10.
