SYLVANIA, Ohio -- The Siena Heights women's golf team finished second at the Lourdes Invitational with a team score of 359 (+71) on Monday (Oct. 12). Dakota Spears (Sr. | Hudsonville, Mich.) won the tournament in dominant fashion. Her final score of 78 (+6) was seven strokes better than the second-place finishers.
Sorina Grech (Sr. | Rochester Hills, Mich.) was 10th with a score of 91 (+19). Bethany Nowak (So. | Britton, Mich.) finished with a 93 (+21) for 14th while Mya Price (Sr. | South Lyon, Mich.) tied for 20th with a 97 (+25). Megan Paczas (Fr. | St. Clair Shores, Mich.) finished off the Saints scoring with a 104 (+32) for 29th. Chelsea Kovoch (Jr. | Rockwood, Mich.) competed as an individual and tallied a 96 (+24) to tie for 15th. Emma Murphy (Fr. | Grand Rapids, Mich.), also competing as an individual, scored a 97 (+25) to tie for 20th. The final SHU women's golfer to participate as an individual was Lindsey Darby (So. | Perry, Mich.) who finished with a 112 (+40) for 33rd place.
This was the final tournament in the fall for the Sina Heights women's golf team. The squad will return to action in Spring 2021.
