OAKLAND CHARTER TOWNSHIP, Michi. -- The Siena Heights women's golf team finished third in the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Jamboree #2 on Tuesday afternoon. The Saints finished round one with a team score of 326 for third place and held strong at that position through the final day with a team score of 331 for a total of 657.

Dakota Spears (Hudsonville, Mich.) was the top Saint finisher with a final tally of 158 (82+76) to tie in eighth place as an individual. Jaclyn Fanola (Monroe, Mich.) finished 10th with a 160 (77+83). Madisyn Reed (Adrian, Mich.) had a final score of 165 (84+81) to finish 15th. Bethany Nowak (Britton, Mich.) completed the tournament with a 174 (83+91) for a tie for the 29th spot. Mya Price (South Lyon, Mich.) rounded out the SHU scoring with a total round score of 187 (95+92) for 41st.

The SHU women's golf team continues the WHAC Jamborees next week when the team travels to play in the third jamboree of the year at the Northville Hills Golf Course in Northville, Michigan. Day one will begin on Thursday, October 10 at 11:00 a.m., EST.
