Siena Heights women's golf freshmen, Dakota Spears was named to the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference second team as announced by the league on Tuesday. 

Spears helped the Saints to a fifth place WHAC finish after three Jamborees. The Saints finished with totals of 697, 712 and 687 for a 2095 final score after the completion of the conference season.  

In the three conference Jamborees, Spears carded a 169, 173 and 162 for a total of 504. Her lowest round was a 79 at the WHAC Jamboree No. 3 played at Coyote Creek Golf Club in Ft. Wayne, Ind, where she aced the third hole on the first day of the tournament, for a hole-in-one (par 3, 141 yards).
