GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- The Siena Heights women's golf team sits fifth among 10 teams after day one of the third Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference jamboree, which Cornerstone is hosting at The Mines. A total of 57 golfers competed.
Lauren Cojei was the Saints' leading golfer on Monday, finishing with an 83 to tie for 12th on the 5,816-yard, par-70 course. Allison Ranusch and Andrea Richards tied for 14th with 84s while Alyssa Fausneaucht tied for 19th with an 86.
In team scoring, the Saints had a 337 while leading team Indiana Tech registered a 315. Indiana Tech's Wiebke Schlender led the way with a 74.
The jamboree -- and WHAC regular season -- will finish on Tuesday.
