SYLVANIA, Ohio -- The Siena Heights women's golf team sits in fifth place after day one of the second Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference jamboree, which is being hosted by Lourdes (Ohio) at Sylvania Country Club on Monday and Tuesday. A total of 57 golfers from 10 schools competed on day one.
Andrea Richards was the Saints' top finisher, carding an 81 to tie for fifth after Monday's action on the 5,803-yard, par-72 course.
Allison Ranusch and Andrea Rumler are tied for 18th with 86s while Lauren Cojei and Alyssa Fausneaucht are tied for 25th with 87s.
Indiana Tech's Wiebke Schlender was the top golfer with a two-over 74, leading the Warriors to the best team score of 323. Siena Heights had a 340.
The jamboree will wrap up on Tuesday.
