ALMA, Mich. -- Ashley Carney was the leading scorer for the Siena Heights women's golf team's 'B' squad as the Saints placed third among four teams at Alma's Scottie Invitational on Thursday at Pine River. A total of 28 golfers competed.

Carney tied for fourth with an 88 on the par-72 course. Ashley Bearden and Amber Dykstra added 90s to tie for seventh.

As a team, the Saints had a score of 363, finishing behind Alma (349) and Cleary (354), while placing ahead of Albion (372).

Cleary's Madison Smith was the medalist with an 82.
