Fort Wayne, Indiana – The Siena Heights University women's bowling team participated in the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Championship on Saturday, February 26th. While competing the Blue and yellow landed sixth-place standing in the competition with a grand tally of 3,289 pins, trailing only 552 pins behind first place.

Lourdes University with 3,841 pins placed first. Only 34 pins behind ins second were Lawrence Tech with 3,807. Madonna University claimed third with 3,615 and Indian Tech in fourth tallying 3,594 pins. Concordia University Ann Arbor found fifth, while Aquinas and UM-Dearborn took seventh and eighth-place finishes. Cleary and Cornerstone University rounded out the board falling into ninth and tenth place.

Heading into bracket play the top four teams continued. Lourdes, Lawrence Tech, Madonna, and Indiana Tech competed, head-to-head deciding who would take home the title of 2022 WHAC Champion. First in lanes 31 and 32 #1 Lourdes faced off against #4 Indiana Tech, winning in a close battle 3-2. Next was #2 Lawrence Tech versus #3 Madonna University, the Blue Devils rallied to win 3-1. Going into the finals was the two top seeds, Lourdes and Lawrence Tech. The final round, resulted in a comeback win for Lawrence Tech after dropping the first round, to win 3-1 and claim the title of 2022 WHAC Conference Champion.
