The Saints Take 8th in the Scotty Classic

 Jackson, Mich. – The Siena Heights Women's Bowling team finished 8th with an overall pin count of 6,008, in the Scotty Classic Saturday at the Jax 60. Megan Helpman was the Saints leader finishing in 14th place with a total pin tally of 751 pins over four games for a tournament average of 187.75 pins per game. Hannah Patch was the next Siena Heights athlete in the standings, Patch places 40th with a final count of 665 pins overall with a total of 166.25 pins per game.

Madonna University placed first overall in the Scotty Classic raking up 6,858 pins, just ahead of number two Spring Arbor who held a pin count of 6,774. In third was Alma College tallying 6,537 pins and Concordia University in fourth with 6,275 pins. CornerstoneUniversity was next in fifth counting 6,250 pins, while Adrian College put down 6,223 pins to take sixth place. Seventh was held by Aquinas College followed closely by Siena Heights in 8th and Bowling Green State in ninth. Rounding out the standing was Rochester in tenth with 5,802 pins, Cleary in eleventh with 5,740, Michigan State University in twelfth holding 5,624 pins, Ball State finishing thirteenth tallying 5,495, and finally Bethel University (IN) with 4,157.
