Women's Bowling Places Eighth at MSC Cincinnati Collegiate Classic

CINCINNATI -- The Siena Heights women's bowling team finished eighth with a team total of 4323 pins at the MSC Cincinnati Collegiate Classic on Saturday. The Saints were 13 pins shy of Tennessee Wesley in seventh. 

St. Francis (Ill.) won the 16-team tournament with 4935 pins. Tennessee Southern was second with 4604. Union claimed third with 4452 while Bethel (Tenn.) was fourth with 4423. Pikeville finished the top five with 4422.

Preslee Stahl had the top finish for SHU with an 11th-place total of 889 pins and an average of 177.8. Hannah Patch finished with 854 pins (170.8) for 42nd. Kendall Herron placed 68th with a four-game total of 779 (194.75). Megan Helpman played four games and totaled 713 pins (178.25). Francesca Bontomasi finished with 680 pins and an average of 170 for 88th. Becca Ludwick (128th, 290/145) and Olivia Johnston (146th, 118/118) finished off the individual standings for the Saints.
