Women's Bowling Finishes 3rd at SHU Tournament

ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Siena Heights women's bowling team finished third behind Spring Arbor and Adrian in the team's SHU "Black and Blue Weekend" Tournament held on Friday and Saturday. The Saints finished with a total of 6,095 pins to claim the third-place spot on the team standings.

The Cougars tallied 6,712 pins to win the event. The Bulldogs had 6,272 for second place while Mid Michigan fell to fourth behind the Saints with 6,016. Cornerstone was the final team on the chart with 5,868 total pins.

Megan Helpman led Siena with a third-place finish in the individual standings. Helpman's total pin count was at 1,028. Hannah Patch totaled 745 pins for 19th while Francesca Bontomasi was 22nd with 622. Preslee Stahl was five pins behind Bontomasi for 23rd. Becca Ludwick and Olivia Johnston fell to 32nd and 35th with pin totals of 457 and 389 respectively. Hannah Greenwell rounded out the SHU scoring with 285 pins for 39th.

The Saints will take the rest of November off before returning to compete in the WHAC #3 event on Saturday, December 4.
