Women's Bowing Places 20th at Hoosier Classic

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- The Saints make history, competing in the 2018 Hoosier Classic at Woodland Bowl, the women had never finished higher than 36th place in the USBC Regular season ending tournament. After the two-day event, which consisted of 6 Team games and 15 Baker games, SHU finished in 20th place in the 66-team field.

The end of the day on Saturday found the Saints in 16th place after games of: 900, 886, 999, 829, 900, and 921 for a total of 2,658. Olivia Cabildo made history as well, being the first Siena Heights bowler to finish in the Top 20 by averaging over 204 for six games.

On Sunday, the team had five-game Baker sets of: 811, 929, and 918 to finish the tournament in 20th place. With the strong finish, they solidify their spot in the USBC Sectionals. Wednesday night, February 21st, the Sectional assignments will be announced live on BowlTV.

The Saints' next tournament is the AHIBC Championships. They will be held at Beaver-Vu Lanes in Beavercreek, Ohio. Starting time is 9:00am.
