Women's Bowling Tabbed Fifth in WHAC Preseason Polls

The Siena Heights women's bowling team is slated for a fifth place finish in the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Preseason Coaches Poll. In the 2016-17 season, the Saints ended with a fifth place finish in the WHAC.

In a tight race, Aquinas emerged as the favorite in the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) women's bowling preseason rating. The Saints edged out Concordia by one point and defending champion Lawrence Tech by two points. Aquinas received two first-place votes after winning the league's tournament last year. Concordia received four first-place votes and LTU had two.

The preseason poll is conducting using ballots from head coaches in the league. Rochester starts its first season as a full member after competing last year as an association member. Spring Arbor is competing as an associate member of the conference for bowling only. The first jamboree is slated for Oct. 7.
