FORT WAYNE, Ind. -- The Siena Heights women's basketball team lost to Indiana Tech, 58-53, in the WHAC Tournament final on Monday night.

E'Anna Won led the Saints (27-4) with 14 points while Jillian Gelso and Jakarri Alven put in 11 and 10, respectively. Kayla Hinton grabbed eight rebounds.

Siena Heights held a 13-9 lead after the first quarter, before Indiana Tech took the lead for good in the second, outscoring the Saints 23-11.

SHU trailed by as many as 11 before chipping away in the second half. A layup by Olivia DeLong pulled the Saints within 50-49 with 3:26 to go, but the host Warriors (28-3) hit 3-pointers on their next two possessions to regain control.

The Saints will play their next game in the NAIA Tournament, having claimed one of the two automatic bids in the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference. The opening rounds start Mar. 15-16. The selection show will be Thursday at 8 p.m.
