HEAD COACH: Sue Syljebeck is in her 20th season as the head coach of the Saints women's basketball program. She is the program's winningest coach with a career record of 384-231. Syljebeck currently ranks 20th on the NAIA Women's basketball active coach wins list. She will be assisted this year by Deb Ray, Sara Chrenko, Niesha Lowe, Mo Rammuny, Dan Brooks and Tee Watters.

 

 

WINS IN 25 OF 26: The Saints have won seven straight games and 25 of 26 after winning a pair of road games last week.

Jakarri Alven led the way with 17 points as SHU earned a 67-47 victory against LTU. on Wednesday. Kayla Hinton added 14 points and seven assists while E'Anna Won contributed 11 points and nine rebounds for the Saints.

The Saints wrapped up their regular season with a 76-47 victory over Michigan-Dearborn on Saturday.

Hinton and Gabrielle Martin scored 15 points apiece for the Saints. Won added eight rebounds and four steals

Siena Heights vs. Lawrence Tech

The Saints have won their last six matchups against Lawrence Tech, including a regular-season sweep in 2023-24. SHU won at home, 71-44, and then at LTU, 67-47.

At SHU, Kayla Hinton led the Saints with 17 points, six steals and four assists while E'Anna Won finished with 15 points and eight rebounds.

In Southfield, Jakarri Alven led the way with 17 points. Hinton added 14 points and seven assists while Won contributed 11 points and nine rebounds for the Saints.

LTU's last win in the series was a 66-57 contest on Feb. 7, 2021.
