ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Siena Heights women's basketball team claimed its 14th consecutive victory with a 71-44 win over WHAC opponent Lawrence Tech on Saturday at the SHU Fieldhouse.

Kayla Hinton led the Saints (14-2, 9-1) with 17 points, six steals and four assists while E'Anna Won finished with 15 points and eight rebounds.

Also for SHU, Olivia DeLong had 10 points, nine rebounds, three steals and two blocks. Jakarri Alven hauled down nine rebounds.

The Saints answered an early 2-0 deficit with seven straight points and never trailed after that. Hinton and DeLong helped Siena Heights out to a 36-14 halftime lead as Hinton deposited 10 points and DeLong scored nine in the opening 20 minutes.

SHU maintained its lead in the third quarter behind the scoring of Won (8) and Hinton (7) as the Saints took a 54-27 advantage into the fourth.

Siena Heights held a 42-30 edge in rebounds and contained LTU's offense to a 29.8-percent effort (14 of 47), including 2 of 15 from 3-point land.
