ADRIAN, Mich. -- Tournament MVP Kayla Hinton scored 18 points as the Siena Heights women's basketball team defeated Governors State, 61-45, in the SHU Thanksgiving Tournament championship game Sunday at the SHU Fieldhouse.

E'Anna Won added 13 points and nine rebounds while Olivia DeLong compiled 11 points, nine rebounds and four blocks.

Hinton, Won and DeLong were named to the All-Tournament Team along with GSU's Tabetha Jones and Angelique Cowan and Washington Adventist's Sarah Shamdeen.

On Sunday, the Saints (5-2) trailed 13-10 before taking the lead for good in the second quarter. SHU outscored GSU, 16-4, in the second. Hinton scored 10 points and DeLong made three blocks during the period.

Siena Heights will return to action on Wednesday with a 6 p.m. WHAC home game against Northwestern Ohio.
