UPCOMING FOR SHU: Siena Heights heads to the road to wrap up regular season play when they travel to Rochester on Wednesday, and then to Concordia on Saturday.
 
HEAD COACH: Sue Syljebeck is in her 19th season as the head coach of the Saints women's basketball program. She is the program's winningest coach with a career record of 357-225. Syljebeck currently ranks 22nd on the NAIA Women's basketball active coach wins list. She will be assisted this year by Deb Ray, Sara Chrenko, Niesha Lowe, Mo Rammuny, Dan Brooks and Tee Watters.
 
ROCHESTER: The Saints won a close battle with Rochester in December, winning 79-74 at Siena Heights.  The teams have had a fierce battle over the last few seasons, splitting their regular season games in the 2021-22 campaign before Rochester ended the Saints season in the WHAC Tournament in 2022.  The 2020-2021 season saw a series split as well.
 
CONCORDIA: Concordia came away with an upset win in January, winning in overtime by a score of 76-73.  The 2021-22 season saw the teams split the season matchup, the Saints hold a 15-8 advantage over the last ten seasons against the Cardinals. 
 
LAST TIME OUT: Peyton Banks and Olivia DeLong had double-doubles as the Siena Heights women's basketball team rolled to a 70-43 victory over WHAC opponent Michigan-Dearborn on Friday night at the SHU Fieldhouse.  Banks totaled 22 points and 12 rebounds while DeLong had 10 points and 12 rebounds off the bench.  Kayla Hinton added 12 points, five rebounds and three steals for the Saints (22-4, 15-3), who have won eight straight. E'Anna Won grabbed seven rebounds and Allye Minor made five assists.
 
RECORD WATCH: Peyton Banks broke the SHU career scoring record on November 30th, surpassing Laura Panozzo's previous mark of 1,812.  She reached the 2,000 point plateau on January 25th.  Her 993 career rebounds are 106 away from the lead in that category.   Her 672 field goals are 2nd best in SHU history.   Banks has moved into 4th place in 3-pt FG.  She sits seven rebounds away from 1,000 and 25 points away from 2,100.  She is only 50 points away from the SHU basketball (men's & women's) history mark in scoring of 2,122 held by Brent Tucker. 
 
Sha'kyia Parker surpassed the 1,000 point plateau on January 4th.  She has now moved into 10th place in the SHU record book with 1,175 points.  She sits 69 points back of the 9th place total in SHU history.  She was the 13th women's basketball player at Siena Heights to reach 1,000 points..  She has now moved into 3rd place in SHU history for career 3-point field goals, currently sitting at 192.  Her 517 3-pt field goal attempts place her in 4th place, 63 attempts behind the 3rd place mark.
 
Allye Minor has 262 career assists, moving her into 9th best in SHU history, only 2 assists back of the 8th place total.
