The Siena Heights women's basketball team lost a showdown of first-place teams in the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference when the Saints lost on the road to Cornerstone 69-60 on Saturday.

Sha'kyia Parker led the Saints with 18 points, while Kayla Hinton scored 16 and Olivia DeLong had a double-double with 14 points and 16 rebounds.

Mackenzie Smith led Cornerstone with 24 points and Stephanie Ainsworth scored 17.

The loss drops SHU to 9-3 overall and 5-2 in the WHAC.

The Saints play at Washington Adventist on Sunday, Dec. 18.
