ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Siena Heights women's basketball team rolled to a lopsided win over Judson inside the SHU Fieldhouse on Thursday night. The Saints (13-3) held the Eagles (2-10) to just 22 points as they cruised to a 76-22 victory.

Siena's bench outscored Judson 41-6 in the contest. Jillian Gelso came off the bench and was the leading scorer for SHU with 12 points on 4-6 shooting, all from three-point range. Eva Alcock scored nine points off the bench as she made all four field-goal attempts. Anaya Powell and Sha'kyia Parker each tallied eight points. Powell also led the Saints with five assists. Natalie Tucker registered ten rebounds to lead SHU in that category.

Both teams started slowly as the Saints missed their first three shots before they got a bucket at the 6:52 mark of the first quarter. The Eagles were unsuccessful in their first eight shot attempts. They scored their only basket, 6:11 into the first quarter as the Saints built a 15-2 lead with a 9-0 run that ended the opening period.

In the first three minutes, back-to-back three-point shots extended the lead to 23-4 in favor of the blue and yellow. Gelso scored nine of her 12 points in the second as the Saints scored the final 11 points of the half to continue to pull away with a 37-9 lead as the teams entered the locker room at the break.

E'Anna Won hit a jumper and sparked a 7-0 run to start the third quarter. Then, a 6-0 run ignited by back-to-back layups from Eva Alcock pushed the advantage to 54-13 with just 1:42 remaining in the third stanza.

Gelso hit her final three in the opening minute of the last period that began a 5-0 run for the home team. Runs of 6-0 and 7-0 took place through the fourth, the latter ended by a layup by Olivia DeLong for the largest lead of the game for the Saints, 76-22.
