Siena Heights senior forward Peyton Banks was named the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) women's basketball player of the week by the league office this afternoon.
Banks had another monster week as she averaged a double-double with 25.7 PPG and 10.7 RPG. Her performance helped the Saints a 3-0 week that included a tournament MVP award at the SHU Thanksgiving Tournament.
This is Banks' second WHAC player of the week nod this season and the ninth of her career.
Banks will lead the Saints back into action this Wednesday, December 1, on the road against Rochester with a 5:30 p.m. tip time.
