ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Siena Heights women's basketball team cruised to a comfortable 69-54 win over Lawrence Tech to remain unbeaten so far this season. The Saints (5-0, 2-0 WHAC) scored 27 points off of turnovers in the game while also outrebounding the Blue Devils 38-28 in the win.

Peyton Banks made eight of her 12 shots from the floor to lead the offense with 21 points and a game-high eight rebounds. Sha'kyia Parker netted 14 points, while Madison Hamilton finished with 11 points and three rebounds shy of a double-double. E'Anna Won totaled seven rebounds and two steals to help the Saints out hustle LTU.

Siena scored the game's first seven points, and Lawrence Tech didn't make a basket for the first 3:27 of play. Banks hit a layup that started a 7-0 run for SHU as the Saints jumped out to a quick 14-2 lead. Kendall Fisher made back-to-back baskets that ignited an 11-3 run for the Blue Devils that lasted the remainder of the first quarter and cut the SHU lead to 19-17.

A 5-0 run to start the second quarter gave LTU its only lead of the game, 22-19, with 8:49 left in the first half. However, the Saints responded with a 5-0 run to recapture the advantage, 24-22. A layup by Dominique Evans tied the score at 24, but the Blue Devils struggled the rest of the quarter as they failed to make another field goal. Meanwhile, Banks hit a three that began a 12-1 run and gave SHU the 38-25 lead as the teams entered the locker room at the half.

The Saints came out of the break with a 6-0 run after trading the first two baskets to pull ahead 46-27. A three-point jumper by Parker gave SHU its first 20-point edge, 53-33, with 4:44 left in the third. A 5-0 run by LTU would bring things closer, 53-38, but Siena Heights scored the final seven points of the quarter to continue to pull away.

The scoring margin remained in the double-digits for the rest of regulation as the Saints saw their largest lead of the game happen when they were leading by 24 points with 9:42 left in the game.
