The Siena Heights women's basketball team is hosting a summer full of basketball activities for players of all ages. At the conclusion of the 2016-17 season SHU earned a 24-10 overall record, including an appearance in the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Championship game and the NAIA Tournament in Sioux City, Iowa.
The Saints start of the summer hosting a team tournament with the Adrian College Bulldogs June 23-25. The three-day tournament includes a jersey, room and board. The varsity and junior varsity teams that attend will participatie in eight regular games, an OT Tournament, a Situational Tournament and the Championship Tournament.
Next up, SHU will host the Saints Day Camp that will feature personal attention and individual work for each athlete, ages 6-18. The Camp runs July 10-12 and takes place 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Following the Saints Day Camp is the Saints Shooting camp, July 13-14. The shooting camp focuses on the basics of shooting and challenges those who want to improve on their skills and knowledge on the offensive side of the game. Athletes, ages 8-18, will recieve individual attention as each coach will only have 6-8 players.
Throughout the summer Siena Heights will host six different shootout dates for high school teams to participate in. See below for dates.
