The 22nd-ranked Siena Heights women's basketball team is set to travel to No. 7 ranked Davenport, for the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference tournament finals on Monday. Tip off is set for 7:30 p.m.
On its way to the tournament finals, the Saints upset No. 17 Indiana Tech in the WHAC semifinals on Saturday after defeating Cornerstone in the quarterfinals last Wednesday. Davenport was able to advance after defeating Aquinas in the quarterfinals and Lawrence Tech in the semifinals.
This season, SHU is 0-2 against the Panthers. On Nov. 30, 2016 the Saints dropped the contest 71-61. Then on Feb. 15, 2017, Siena Heights fell to DU again in a 83-81 thriller.
For Siena Heights students who would like to attend the game, and cheer the Saints to victory, there will be a free fan bus traveling to Davenport for tonight's contest. The bus will leave from the UC at 4:30 p.m. Admission to the game is also included. Sign up for your spot on the bus in the UC.
Admission to the WHAC Championship is $7.
