SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico -- The Siena Heights women's basketball team took on Cayey in its second contest in Puerto Rico. The Saints finished their trip with another convicing victory with a score of 79-44.

The first half was exceptionally strong for SHU while they knocked in 48 points and held Cayey to just 15 in two quarters. 

In the second half, the Saints barely outscored Cayey, 31-29 in the third and fourth, but the significant lead that Siena Heights built in the first half was enough to hang on for the convincing victory. 

Demi Russell led the Saints with 18 points and five rebounds. Ashely Perry added 13 points while Sharmaine Wills contributed nine points, five rebounds and four steals. 

Linoska Ramos led Cayey with 20 points and five rebounds. 

The Saints will be back in action on Wednesday, Dec. 28 when they travel to Calumet Saint Joseph (Ind.). Tipoff is set for 6 p.m.
