Siena Heights women's basketball team member Ra'Shawn Calvert was selected to compete in the Ninth Annual "Champions of Character" College All-Star Basketball Showcase.

The event will consist of both men and women's games. Games will take place on Wednesday, March 30, at Davenport's Student Athletic Center. The College All-Star game times include the women's game at 6:00 p.m. and the men's game at 7:30 p.m. The all-star games will be a unique Small College Showcase format with a mix of Big Ten and MAC College seniors originating from the Grand Rapids area.

The goal is to raise $5000-$7500 in support on the "Champions of Character" and the Make a Wish Foundation in which every player, coach, referee, parent and spectator will commit back to the true spirit (fun) of competition through "Respect, Integrity, Responsibility, Servant Leadership, and Sportsmanship."

Tickets will be only $5.00 per person or $15 (max) for families.
