HONOLULU, Hawaii -- Sierra Calhoun scored 20 points and Mackenzie Tomasik had a double-double worth 15 points and 11 rebounds as the 13th-ranked Siena Heights women's basketball team defeated 14th-ranked Menlo (Calif.), 61-57, at the Hoop N Surf Classic on Saturday.

Najee Brazzle contributed 11 points while Alexxis Knannlein finished with 10 rebounds for the Saints (10-3), who went 1-1 on their Hawaiian trip.

Siena Heights led by as many as 10 points in the first half before holding off a late Menlo charge in the second.

Menlo pulled within one point on an Amber Lane layup with 1:46 remaining in the contest, but from that point, the Saints held Menlo without a point the rest of the way.

Lane had 17 points to lead Menlo while Aaliyah Sowards put in 14. Lauren Donnenwirth grabbed 10 rebounds.

The Saints will be in action next when they visit Calumet Saint Joseph (Ind.) for a non-conference game on Dec. 30.
