ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Siena Heights softball team dropped both ends of a WHAC doubleheader against Concordia on Sunday at Christensen Memorial Softball Field.

The Saints will be in action next on Tuesday when Grace Christian visits for a 3:30 p.m. non-conference doubleheader.

Game one: Concordia 8, Siena Heights 3
Courtnee Chappetta had a home run, two doubles and two RBI for SHU. Shyann Truax added a double.

Concordia scored in four consecutive innings to take command, building a 4-1 lead in the third and continuing to add to it with one in the fourth, two in the fifth and one in the sixth.

The Saints had single runs in the second, third and seventh.

Truax scored on an error in the second. Chappetta blasted a solo homer in the third and an RBI double in the seventh.

Truax pitched all seven innings in the pitcher's circle, allowing five earned runs on 13 hits. She recorded three strikeouts and one walk.

Game two: Concordia 9, Siena Heights 0 (6 innings)
Chappetta had two hits and Julia Hogston doubles.

Riley Hoover pitched 1 2/3 innings of scoreless relief.
