Senior short stop Kenya Keller earned the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Player of the Week for her efforts in the 7-4 and 9-1 victories over Adrian College and the 8-7 win and 4-4 tie with Michigan-Dearborn.
In the first game against AC the score was 3-4 in Adrian's favor in the bottom of the seventh. Keller smoked the ball over the leftfield wall for the walk-off grand slam where the team earned a 7-4 victory.
During game two against AC Keller went two-for-three and successfully stole two bases.
Also at the plate, Keller scored two runs and earned an RBI in the team's 8-7 victory over Michigan-Dearborn. She went three-for-three, recording a triple and an RBI.
She had a .500 batting average and an astounding .857 slugging average on the week.
The Saints will be back in action on Tuesday, March 28, where they will host Findlay in a double header. First pitch is set for 3:30 p.m.
