Tucson, ARZ: The Siena Heights Softball Team rebounded with two wins, a 10-2 win over Purdue North Central and a 8-4 win over Ashford.

In game one, the Saints found themselves behind 2-0 going into the bottom of the fifth.  Kris Forest came in with a pinch hit single followed by a walk by Hailey Fox and a single by Kenya Keller.  After a flyout, the bases were loaded with two outs and Kelsie Abbott came up with a clutch two out, two RBI base hit to tie the game.  After a 1-2-3 top of the 6th for PNC, the Saints exploded for eight runs in the bottom of the 6th to end the game.

For the game, Keller was 3-4 with 3 RBI, a run scored and a homerun, Abbott went 2-4 with two RBI, Megan Jones was 2-4 with a double, run scored, and two RBI, Kelsey Cherry went 2-3, Lexi Agers had a RBI triple, Katie Hybl ended the game with an RBI single, Hannah Bleikamp had a single, Forest went 2-2 with an RBI double, and Fox was 1-1 with two runs scored.

Abbott went the distance on the mound to earn her first win of the season allowing five hits over six innings and striking out six.

In game two, the Saints took on Ashford and got on top with a four run first inning.  After seeing Ashford climb back in and make it 4-3 after three innings, Siena Heights scored one in the fourth to see Ashford cut it to 5-4 in the fifth.  A three run fifth inning gave the Saints a four run lead they wouldn't relinquish.

Keller had a hit and a run, Kyndle Wolfinger went 1-3 with two runs scored, Jones was 2-3 with two runs, a double, a homerun, and five RBI, Amy Nordstrom added an RBI, Agers was 1-2 with a run scored and a double, Bleikamp was 1-3 with an RBI and a double while Tiffany Jones added an RBI walk.

With the wins, the Saints move to 2-2 on the season.  They will return to action on Monday with games against Concordia, Nebraska, and Missouri Valley.
