LANSING, Mich. – The Siena Heights men's cross country team finished eighth in the Lansing Cross Country Invitational. SHU received a score of 181 beating out Rochester (MI) (191), Cleary (229), and Concordia (MI) (DNF). Lansing community college came in first with only 19 points and was followed by Wayne State (94), Madonna (101), Calvin (102), Ferris State (152), Hillsdale (169), and Lourdes (177).
The first Saint to cross the finish line was Jacob Harberts who placed 13th with a time of 26:24.2. Jay Moore was next running in 27:42.7 minutes. Tyler Landis was third with a total time of 27:46.7. Nethanel Leupold (28:11.9) and Colin Metzger (28:48.7) rounded out the top five finishers for Siena.
