MUSKEGON, Mich. -- The Siena Heights Men's Cross Country team competed at the Jayhawk Invitational hosted by Muskegon Community College on Saturday afternoon. The Saints ran an 8k and placed 2nd out of 10 teams behind Calvin University with a team score of 73.
TOP SAINTS
Liam Heaney (Sr. | Chelsea, Mich.) led the Saints as his time was 25:41 and placed 12th overall. This was Heaney's first competition of the season as he returned from an injury. Liam Hartsuff (Jr. | Chelsea, Mich.) finished second on the team just behind Heaney placing 14th overall with a time of 25:52. Jordan Parkinson (Sr. | Coldwater, Mich.) earned third on the team with a time of 27:03 finishing 27th overall. Abdullah Nasser (Fr. | Dearborn, Mich.) placed fourth on the team and finished 41st overall with a time of 27:50. Bradley Bauer (Sr. | Mount Gilead, Ohio) placed 43rd overall just behind Nasser with a time of 28:04 for fifth on the team.
